UNDERCOVER : STREET SNAP

As luck might have it, street-style photography existed long before blogging heavyweights The Sartorialist and Humans of New York ever came on the scene.

In fact, humans have been documenting each other for centuries…camera or no camera – cave walls, parchment paper and canvases all were suitable means of capturing the human experience. The recording of light onto photographic film just made the process all the easier – one no longer needed to be a Leonardo da Vinci to immortalise subjects. But street-style photography…well, there were some individuals who were just far beyond there time.
